Geetika Veerwani describes seven workers and a refund dispute

Veerwani says seven workers were sent over five weeks, including no-shows, role and profile mismatches, and a kitchen safety incident.

The experience

Geetika Veerwani’s LinkedIn post describes a six-month cook and utensil-cleaning plan costing ₹8,037. She says Broomees sent seven workers over five weeks. Veerwani reports three no-shows; one worker who thought the role was babysitting; one who said she could not cook paneer sabzi; and one who, Veerwani says, did not match the profile shared with her.

Veerwani says another worker left a gas burner unattended, which burned food, damaged a utensil and filled the home with smoke. She requested a full refund. She quotes a written company response saying the placement turnaround time had not been breached and a refund did not apply. The response, as she describes it, offered mediation with that worker or another placement. The incident and the profile discrepancy are her reported account.

Separate customer-call account: Harini Anand

The additional case notes describe Harini Anand’s post-hospital attendant booking in Gurugram, with an experience date of 8 June 2024. Anand says they expected a verified profile, a confirmed arrival window and a single point of contact. Anand reports that the assigned worker changed at short notice and the replacement had not received the same instructions.

The chronology begins with a requirements discussion and booking request on 6 June 2024. The assignment and service window were confirmed on 7 June. The first scheduled service took place on 8 June, and Anand recorded the concern. On 9 June, Anand contacted support and requested a remedy. The notes list a work schedule, payment confirmation and escalation email as supporting material. A representative acknowledged the report, requested the booking reference and said the local team would review it.

Anand says they accepted a partial adjustment and arranged the remaining support independently. The outcome was last checked on 21 July 2024. The account was posted on 14 August and updated on 23 August 2024, with a timeline note added later. The notes relate it to another account about replacement timing and a separate note on billing explanations.
