The experience
Qumonde’s Reddit comment says they paid ₹7,291.22 for a three-month plan but received no proper service and no response to email. They say their relationship manager changed twice within days; messages and calls went unanswered or promised callbacks did not happen. They also say questions about nanny services and background checks were not answered clearly, and that Broomees later emailed an answer to a query they say they had not raised.
Qumonde says they did not receive a maid or refund and that the company later pursued additional payment. The same text appeared in two Delhi Reddit discussions: one discussion and another. The post reproduces a customer email and states a subscription amount.
Separate customer-call account: Devika Anand
The additional case notes describe Devika Anand’s live-in caregiver booking in Kochi, with an experience date of 20 June 2024. Anand says they expected a trained worker, daily attendance updates and prompt escalation support. Anand reports that the profile information did not match the person who arrived and that the planned handover did not occur.
The chronology begins with a requirements discussion and booking request on 18 June 2024. The assignment and service window were confirmed on 19 June. The first scheduled service took place on 20 June, and Anand recorded the concern. On 21 June, Anand contacted support and requested a remedy. The notes list an invoice, appointment messages and a note of calls to the help desk as supporting material. Support said it was reviewing the account notes and later sent a brief status update.
Anand says the case was marked for follow-up. The outcome was last checked on 2 September 2024. The account was posted on 14 August and updated on 20 August 2024, adding the escalation outcome and date of last contact. The notes associate it with other entries about profile verification and schedule confirmation.
