Rahul Batra describes replacement delays after two workers left

Batra says two maids quit, a promised replacement had not arrived after five days, and he requested a refund.

The experience

Rahul Batra’s LinkedIn post says the last maid came on 4 September and that, five days later, no replacement had arrived despite repeated promises. He says two maids quit, citing distance and unclear communication about their role responsibilities. Batra says Broomees had promised an instant replacement, and that he learned the workers had left only after contacting them directly. He requested a refund and described his household as being left without help.

Separate customer-call account: Kavya Anand

The additional case notes describe Kavya Anand’s pet-care visit booking in Indore, with an experience date of 2 December 2024. Anand says they expected a pre-service briefing, written pricing and continuity across shifts. Anand reports that the service began as booked, but a scheduled follow-up visit was missed without advance notice.

The chronology begins with a requirements discussion and booking request on 30 November 2024. The assignment and service window were confirmed on 1 December. The first scheduled service took place on 2 December, and Anand recorded the concern. On 3 December, Anand contacted support and requested a remedy. The notes list a work schedule, payment confirmation and escalation email as supporting material. A coordinator offered to rearrange the next visit but, according to Anand’s account, did not address every point raised in the message.

Anand says a credit was discussed, but the original payment question remained open. The outcome was last checked on 20 January 2025. The account was posted on 13 February and updated on 19 February 2025, adding the replacement offer while retaining the account of the first visit. The notes cite a nearby-area report about a missed follow-up visit and disputed cancellation charge.
